It is worth mentioning that this lecture, attended by a number of Libyan students, is part of the role played by the Organization&#8217;s branch to confront extremist ideologies, correct misconceptions and spread the moderate thought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shaykh Faisal Al-Teer, member of the Organization&#8217;s Branch, highlighted Prophet Muhammad&#8217;s (pbuh) approach that calls for moderation as well as discarding <em>ghulu <\/em>and violence. In addition, he urged the attendees to deeply understand verses of the Holy Quran and Prophetic <em>Sunnah<\/em>. Allah Almighty says &#8220;Thus, We appointed you a midmost community that you might be witnesses to the people; and that the Messenger might be a witness to you&#8221; [Q. 2:143].
