This came as part of the activities carried out by the Organization&#8217;s branch to confront extremist ideologies, correct misconceptions, and spread the moderate approach.\u00a0 During the forum, Prof. Mohammad Shehabuldin al-Azhari, Secretary-General of India&#8217;s branch, asserted the necessity of al-Azhar role in spreading the moderate approach in the life of young people. Moreover, he confirmed that al-Azhar works on inoculating young people from extreme ideologies and adopting moderation. It is worth mentioning that he affirmed that young people are the hope of Islamic Ummah and its power; we should do our best to protect them from exaggeration and extremism.
