A delegation of al-Azhar Graduates and Noor Magazine for children published by it, visited the village of Nagrig in Gharbia governorates, the town of the international football player Mohammad Salah in recognition of his achievements in the football game, as he became an icon for young people. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is worth mentioning that the delegation met the mayor of Nagrig village and visited many entities that Salah shared in establishing to develop his society, such as the Azhari primary institute (for boys and girls), the preparatory institute (for girls), and other projects to serve the people of his village, such as food products\u2019 point of sale and an integrated aid station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Furthermore, the people of his village spoke about the humanitarian value of the Egyptian player, which the foreign visitors mentioned when they visited the town. They also praised \u201cMo Salah\u201d as an Islamic symbol, as he participated in correcting the established stereotype of Islam. Besides, \u201cSajdah\u201d of Mo Salah became an icon imitated by British children after scoring goals. Some players consider this \u201cSajdah\u201d as a good luck charm for winning, pointing out that some fans converted to Islam because of their love for Salah, one of them is Ben Bird, who converted from Islamophobic to Muslim due to Salah\u2019s behaviors. Moreover, the officials of Noor Magazine met with some children of the Azhari institute and distributed an issue of the magazine, in which Salah\u2019s picture was put on its cover.
