Furthermore, he pointed out the Grand Imam\u2019s efforts in maintaining the Islamic heritage and ensuring safety and security, as al-Azhar is the platform of religion, knowledge, moderation, and instilling tolerance values to protect the society from extremist thoughts. Besides, he urged the students to find a straight path, avoid bad and intolerant ideas, and avoid harboring terrorists and extremists.
