Additionally, the Rwandan Ambassador revealed his gratitude for the support al-Azhar offers to Rwanda, stressing his country\u2019s strive to raise the level of cooperation and coordination with al-Azhar, via increasing the number of al-Azhar scholarships presented to Rwandan students, especially in the fields of applied sciences such as medicine, pharmacy, engineering and agriculture. &nbsp;The Rwandan Ambassador also asked the Grand Imam to increase the trainings offered to Rwandan imams at Al-Azhar International Academy for Training Imams, Preachers and Fatwa Researchers, as well as establishing Azhari institutes in Rwanda, to be the stepping-stone to establish a branch of al-Azhar University there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On his part, the Grand Imam of al-Azhar stressed the strength of the relations between Egypt and Rwanda, emphasizing al-Azhar readiness to increase the number of al-Azhar envoys to Rwanda. Another suggestion is to invite some of the alumni scholars to attend conferences and symposiums organized by the Association. In addition, the association gives increasing attention to international students in Egypt by holding meetings to get acquainted with their problems and find the best ways to solve them. It also organizes seminars and conferences and provides students the opportunity to participate in cultural, social, and entertainment activities. The association is also studying a number of proposals to upgrade and support al-Azhar alumni in foreign countries. This is achieved through holding an annual celebration for distributing excellence awards for best graduates such as the best Master\\u2019s and Ph.D. and theses awards in the field of Islamic Sciences.
