Additionally, al-Azhar hosts delegations of Somali Imams for training at al-Azhar International Academy for Training Imams, Preachers, and Fatwa Researchers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His Eminence, the Grand Imam, expressed al-Azhar\u2019s solidarity with the Somali people amid the challenges and conflicts they face, which have hindered efforts for development and progress. He prayed to Allah, the Almighty, to grant success to the Somali government and people in all that is good for their country and its citizens, and to bless Somalia with prosperity, security, and stability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For his part, the Somali Ambassador expressed his country\u2019s appreciation for the care and support that His Eminence and al-Azhar ash-Sharif extend to the Somali people, particularly the assistance provided to Somali students studying there. It also organizes seminars and conferences and provides students the opportunity to participate in cultural, social, and entertainment activities. The association is also studying a number of proposals to upgrade and support al-Azhar alumni in foreign countries. This is achieved through holding an annual celebration for distributing excellence awards for best graduates such as the best Master\\u2019s and Ph.D. and theses awards in the field of Islamic Sciences.
