A delegation from \u201cAkhyar International Islamic School in Indonesia\u201d visited the World Organization for al-Azhar Graduates\u2019 headquarters in Cairo. The delegation was received by Major-General Wael Bekhit, the Organization\u2019s Vice-President, Prof. Abdul Dayyem Nosseir, the Organization\u2019s Secretary General, Prof. Ibrahim al-Hudhud, the Organization\u2019s Academic Advisor, besides Prof. Mohammad al-Mahrasawy, President of al-Azhar International Academy for Training Imams and Preachers. This meeting came within the framework of the ongoing cooperation between the Organization and al-Azhar graduates in Indonesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In such vein, Prof. Ibrahim al-Hudhud stated that the Organization provides all means of support for the Indonesian students: those enrolled in the E-Learning program, under the supervision of al-Azhar University; training and qualifying the Indonesian imams and preachers participating in the Organization\u2019s training courses held in cooperation with al-Azhar International Academy; and receiving the Indonesian students in al-Sheikh Zayed Center for Teaching Arabic to non-Natives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the same context, Major-General Wael Bekhit underlined that the Organization, whether its headquarters in Cairo or its 25 international branches, opens its doors for all influential institutions and foundations to activate the cooperation in qualifying imams and preachers. He added that the Organization issues Noor Magazine which can be useful for children and youth in Indonesia, as well as the animation series for children translated into different languages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On his part, Dr. Adi Hidayat, President of Akhyar International Islamic School and the Vice Chairman of Preaching Assembly in the Central Board of Muhammadiyah, said that his institution seeks to spread the moderate approach via its widespread centers allover Indonesia as well as its branches in USA, Netherlands, Japan, South Korea and a number of Islamic countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr. Adi Hidayat displayed a presentation through which he explained the Muhammadiyah\u2019s endeavors in supporting the moderate thinking through teaching the Holy Quran and the Arabic language, as well as establishing Islamic centers worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
