The branch of the World Organization for al-Azhar Graduates in India held a seminar titled ‘Providing Youth with Moderate Thought is the Necessity of the Present Age,’ delivered by Mohammad Shahnawaz al-Azhari, a member of the branch, and the Rector of Razavi University in Pratapgarh. The seminar addressed the role of youth in promoting moderate thought and good morals within the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Notably, he said, \u201cIslam has given great attention to young people, both male and female, recognizing the vital role they play in driving societal progress and building civilization. The Prophet\u2019s (PBUH) consultation with the youth and his response to their desire to confront the enemy reflect Islam\u2019s respect for their enthusiasm and energy and the value it places on their ideas and opinions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Moreover, he pointed out that Islam places great emphasis on caring for young people, urging them to care for themselves for the sake of their nation’s standing among other nations. The Prophet (PBUH) said, \u201cA believer who is strong (and healthy) is better and dearer to Allah than the weak believer.\u201d Youth is the center of both mental and physical strength. Physical strength is reflected in good health, proper nutrition, and appropriate clothing.
