In a statement published across its official social media platforms, al-Azhar declared, &#8220;The ongoing closure of al-Aqsa Mosque\u2014the first Qibla and the third of the two Holy Mosques\u2014throughout Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr, and up to the present day is an immoral and unacceptable assault. It constitutes a confiscation of the Palestinian people&#8217;s right to worship, a provocation to Muslim sentiments worldwide, and a flagrant violation of international law.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Al-Azhar calls upon the international community to confront these systematic acts of aggression, through which the occupation seeks to turn the region into a perpetual arena of war and conflict.
