Al-Azhar Graduates in Pakistan: Badr is the First Decisive Battle in Islam

Sheikh Mohammad Aslam al-Azhari, the Secretary General of WOAG Branch in Pakistan, gave a lecture to celebrate the anniversary of the Great Battle of Badr, at Ghousia mosque, in Hyderabad.

He highlighted the importance of Badr Battle that took place in the Ramadan 17th, of the second year of Hijrah. He pointed out that this great battle is considered as the first decisive one in the History of Islam, as it defended Islam and its doctrine, elevated the word of Islam and truth triumphed over falsehood; indeed, the Battle of Badr was a significant victory for Islam and Muslims.

In the same context, he stressed that Muslims had demonstrated their greatest victories during such battle, after which Islam gained power and strength.

This lecture came within the activities carried out by WOAG branches, internally and abroad, to challenge the extremist and violent ideologies, spread the moderate way of thinking and to clarify the tolerate image of Islam.
