As part of the activity of the Organization’s branch in Ivory Coast, a religious lecture entitled “Virtues of Ramadan” attended by 25 persons, was held in the capital Abidjan.
It is worth mentioning that the President of the branch, Almaly Diab, said that a person must be tolerant and remove all hatreds and animosities from his heart in Ramadan. He asserted that fasting in Ramadan is the best means for personal edification as it has an effective impact in supplying a person with spiritual, moral, and positive energy.
Furthermore, he pointed to the wisdom of fasting the month of Ramadan that Allah mentioned in the Holy Quran, as he said “So that you might guard yourselves.”, because piety makes a person always God-fearing, besides fasting makes us feeling with the poor and needy.
This lecture came according to the strategy of the Organization in the face of the extremist thought and propagating Azhari moderate approach.
