WOAG branch in Benin “under establishment” organized a lecture under the title of “The Moral Values in the Prophetic Era“, in Ouémé-Plateau Department in Porto Novo City.
Sheikh Abdul Samie Shito Kolauly, member of WOAG branch in Benin, said that Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) had been sent to preach mankind, especially the weak, a new religion that can achieve justice and equality among all people and correct their behaviors and morals. The Prophet (PBUH) had called upon people to convert into Islam, a religion that denounces extremism and violence. Indeed, Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) had established the noble and sublime values and principles, and clarified that morality is directly proportional to faith, the more faith is in the heart, the more morality elevates.
On another hand, Sheikh Abdul Samie stressed that morality preserves the stability and coherence of society, since it determines the ideals and the fundamental principles upon which the society sets, to ensure a sound and ongoing social life.
This lecture came within the activity carried out by the branch to confront the violent and extremist ideas and to spread al-Azhar moderate approach that calls for peaceful coexistence.
