The World Organization for Al-Azhar Graduates Branch in Mali held a lecture for women in the holy month of Ramadan entitled “The Role of Women in Anchoring Religious Teachings” The lecture pointed to the role of women in promoting familial and social ties. Women are the cornerstone of societies. They also play a significant role in anchoring Islamic and religious teachings based on moderation and discarding violence.
