As part of the activity of the World Organization for al-Azhar Graduates and its domestic and foreign branches to confront the extremist thought, propagate the moderate Azhari approach, and denounce the discourse of violence and hatred, the branch of the Organization in Chad organized a religious lecture under the title: “Compassion and Kindness in Quran and Sunnah”. It is worth mentioning that Mostafa Taher Ibrahim, a member of the Chad branch, said kindness and compassion are lofty moral Islamic and humane values that participate in creating a cohesive society. If people had compassion among themselves and made kindness a basis in their lives, there would be no wretched or deprived, for kindness and compassion are a path to happiness in this world and the hereafter. Moreover, he pointed out that Islam urged the love of a Muslim for his brother, and recommended solidarity, establishing community peace, and helping others.
