Ambassadors of Al-Azhar Project, affiliated to the World Organization for Al-Azhar Graduates, delivered a series of lectures on “Sharh Al-Allama Al-Kafrawi Ala Matn Al-Ajrumiyyah” specialized in the field of syntax. These series of lectures are part of lectures delivered to shield international students with knowledge and render them capable of confronting extremist ideologies and representing moderate Islam in their countries.
In addition, Prof. Muhammad Al-Mahrasawy, President of Al-Azhar University and Vice-President of the Organization, pointed to the significant role played by the Organization in shielding international students against destructive ideologies with knowledge. He also mentioned that the Organization has a wide-ranging program for explaining and simplifying heritage books in accordance with Al-Azhar’s approach that anchors moderation and accepting the other.
Moreover, Al-Mahrasawy expressed his joy to see international students keen on attending theses lectures and to witness one of his once brilliant students delivering these lectures. In this regard he said “Yesterday my student, today a colleague”. It is worth mentioning that these lectures took place at Faculty of Arabic Language in Cairo and were delivered by Shaykh Fawzy Al-Konaty, MA- Faculty of Arabic Language in Cairo.
