Al-Azhar Graduates branch in Qardho, Somalia, held a lecture entitled: “Role of al-Azhar in strengthening moderation”، in the mosque of Kholafaa Rashdeen in Qardho. The lecture was delivered by Sheikh Mostafa Badr, an Azhari envoy in Puntland, Somalia, and a member of the organization. During the lecture, he pointed out the importance of al-Azhar’s role in strengthening the moderate Azhari approach away from violence and extremism. Furthermore, he added that al-Azhar supports the mutual dialog with different countries to promote the consolidation of peace among people of different religions; For people to coexist with each other under one banner that upholds the interests of humanity and renounces extremism and terrorism
