The World Organization for al-Azhar Graduates praised the valor and heroism of the Armed Forces in combating terrorist elements in Sinai.
The organization said in a statement, that the Armed Forces sacrifice their lives to preserve Egypt and protect its great people, fulfilling the role that the Prophet (PBUH) indicated when he said: “Two eyes will never be touched by the fire of Hell; an eye which weeps out of fear of Allah and an eye which spends the night in guarding in the Cause of Allah.” [Narrated by al-Tirmidhi]
It is worth mentioning that the organization warned young people not to be deceived by the calls of extremist groups. Furthermore, it stressed that killing, attacks, and terrorizing peaceful people of these groups are not jihad or defense of Islam; Jihad is what the Armed Forces do by staying up and protecting life, honor, and property from those criminals.
Moreover, the organization called for continuing the efforts of the Armed Forces to combat terrorism and uproot it, stressing that the terrorist groups are far from Islam; they respect neither the inviolability of human life nor individual or national property. But they oppose Allah and His messenger, not caring about the threat of Allah and His Messenger (PBUH).
In its statement, the organization sent a message to the general population to rally around the Armed Forces, whose men sacrifice their lives for the homeland and its people, and they are keen to protect and defend it against its enemies.
The Organization stressed that these treacherous attacks would not destabilize Egypt’s security, since Allah promised to protect Egypt and its people, “Enter into Egypt, if Allah will, in safety” [Q. 12: 99]. At the conclusion of its statement, the organization offered its sincere condolences to the martyrs of Egypt from the armed forces, calling on Allah Almighty to spare Egypt and its people the flames of terrorism and extremism and to keep it safe.
