The World Organization for Al-Azhar Graduates Branch in Pakistan held a conference, in Al-Norani Mosque of Karachi City entitled “Shielding against Terrorism” in cooperation with Islamic Council of Solidarity and Association of Scholars in Pakistan, headed by Prof. Abu Al-Kheir Muhammad Zobair Azhari.
The conference tackled the concept of terrorism, its hazards on Islamic communities, ways of shielding against it, refuting extremist thought as well as significance of warning youth against its hazards, anchoring the moderate Islamic values and peaceful coexistence. The aim of the conference was confronting extremist ideologies adopted by extremist currents and discussing ways of shielding youth against hazards of terrorist groups.
