The branch of al-Azhar Graduates in Benin held a lecture entitled “True understanding of religion” in Benin, attended by 40 people.
Mr. Abdul-Latif Michael, a Member of al-Azhar Graduates, delivered a speech in which he referred to the importance of following the true Sunnah that urges peaceful coexistence with others and denouncing violence and extremism. Furthermore, he asserted the necessity of learning from moderate senior scholars of Islamic Ummah and not to comply with destructive Fatwas circulated by groups of delusion.
