
The branch of the World Organization for al-Azhar Graduates in Cameroon organized a program in cooperation with the Azhari mission in Yaoundé, entitled “Golden Evenings in Ramadan”, as part of the activity of the Organization and its branches abroad to confront extremist thought, correct misunderstood concepts and spread the moderate approach.
Sheikh/ Mohammad Hamdy al-Sabbagh and Imam/ Mohammad al-Mostafa Nasango, delivered lectures about conditions, rulings, nullifications, supererogatory practices, etiquette, and merits of fasting. These events aim to use religious occasions to promote the concept of moderation, the correct understanding of religion, and distance from exaggeration and extremism.
