Importance of Citizenship and Moderation… A Lecture for al-Azhar Graduates in the Central African Republic

The branch of al-Azhar Graduates in Central Africa held a lecture entitled “Importance of Citizenship and Moderation” in the small mosque of Sheikh Abdul Karim Othman in the Capital Bangui, attended by 50 persons. During the lecture, Ahmad Barma, the Imam, preacher, and teacher in the school of Islamic Dawah, referred to the importance of patriotism and peaceful coexistence with others, stressing that moderation carries with it balance and exaltation. He added that moderation lies between two obnoxious characteristics, exaggeration, and negligence. It is worth mentioning that al-Azhar ash-Sharif strengthens the moderation approach, following the teachings of faithful Islam.
