
The World Organization for Al-Azhar Graduates Branch in India held an awareness gathering, which is part of the series of lectures delivered in Indian academic and religious institutions about the status of Al-Azhar Ash-Sharif.
Prof. Mohamed Shehab Al-Azhari, Secretary General of the Branch and Head of Al-Rahmaniah School, delivered a lecture entitled “The Role of Al-Azhar Ash-Sharif in Preserving Islam” in Al-Rahmaniah School in the Indian city of Surat. During the lecture, he highlighted that Al-Azhar is the most significant Islamic entity that preserves Islamic heritage and delivers Islam’s message to the whole world. In addition, it truly represents the moderate essence of Islam. It is worth mentioning that Al-Azhar University is the most distinguished Islamic University, which is the destination of learners worldwide where they learn moderation and become well-qualified scholars.
