WOAG branch in Libya, Zliten office, organized a seminar under the title of “The Virtue of Knowledge and Scholars” at Sheikh Abdul Salam al-Asmar al-Fayturi mosque, with the attendance of a vast number of students.
Sheikh Ahmad Ishmilah, head of Zliten office, highlighted the importance of educating youth, protecting them from subversive ideas, in order to build a healthy society, contribute to propagating Islam with wisdom and good advice as well as promoting the enlightened moderate thinking. He stressed as well the role played by scholars to transmit the Prophetic message as desired by Allah Almighty. Indeed, Allah Almighty selected scholars to teach that message to people and preserve such legacy and that diligence to acquire knowledge. Sheikh Ishmilah also gave a brief on the history of al-Azhar and its scholars and concluded the lecture with praying to Allah Almighty to save the Palestinians.
