The Branch Extends its Gratitude to the Grand Imam of his Noble Patronage
WOAG branch in Central Africa Republic held a ceremony to celebrate the inauguration of the first Islamic-Arabic library in Central Africa. The library was launched under the name of “Al-Azhar Library for Science, Knowledge and Faith Dialogue”, located in Sinkelu Doumbia district.
It is worth to mention that His Eminence, the Grand Imam of al-Azhar sent this library with al-Azhar delegation headed by Prof. Mohammad Gemi’a and Prof. Mohammad al-Abd, during their visits to Central Africa Republic in 2015 and 2016. The library was transmitted by air freight from Cameroon to Central Africa Republic, in coordination with the Embassy of Egypt in Yaoundé and WOAG branch in Central Africa Republic.
The participants in the ceremony extended their gratitude to His Eminence Prof. Ahmad at-Tayyeb, the Grand Imam of al-Azhar, for his noble patronage and the efforts he exerted to send such lush library.
