The Grand Imam stated that the whole world is suffering nowadays from “Global Schizophrenia”, a phenomenon that surfaced right after the Zionist aggression on Gaza Strip. Indeed, many countries provide Gaza with humanitarian aid with one hand, while supporting the Zionist Entity with arms with the other hand to go on with violence, murdering and terrorism. His Eminence stressed that going on with arms manufacturing will not produce any civilization.
The Grand Imam highlighted, while receiving Anne Dorte Riggelsen, the Ambassador of Denmark to Egypt, that global decision makers should possess wisdom and discretion to recognize the peoples’ will, who protested against the crimes carried out by the Zionists in Gaza. His Eminence stressed that if these protests, sparking in European and US cities, are not contained with wisdom and reason, as promptly as possible, their results will be unpredictable. He underlined that the West and USA should accept the lesson and understand that the policies of exclusion, monopoly, supporting the occupation and turning a deaf ear will cost them dearly. The Grand Imam urged the Western decision makers to learn humanity from their peoples, whom we appreciate and commend their role in defending the Palestinian right.
On her part, the Ambassador of Denmark expressed her pleasure to meet with the Grand Imam, pointing out that her country took several steps in support of the Palestinian right. She added that Denmark has voted in favor of Palestine to become a full UN member state, mentioning that Denmark inaugurated a field hospital in Gaza last week.
