‎#Al-Azhar condemns the “Tents Holocaust” in #Rafah and ‎calls on the international community to take a decisive and ‎urgent stance

Al-Azhar reiterates its salute to the courageous Palestinian ‎resistance in the face of genocide and forced displacement

Al-Azhar Al-Sharif firmly condemns the terrorist Zionist ‎aggression against the Rafah refugee camp, which targeted ‎innocent displaced people in their tents and the areas ‎deceptively claimed by the Zionists as a safe zone for the ‎Gazans. The Zionists have committed this heinous crime in ‎full view of the whole world, claiming the lives of dozens, who ‎fell martyrs or wounded, including men, women, and children.‎

Al-Azhar calls on the international community to take a ‎decisive and urgent stance to implement the decisions and ‎resolutions issued by the International Court of Justice against ‎the Zionist entity and its leaders. On top of these resolutions is ‎the immediate cessation of the terrorist aggression against ‎Rafah, the opening of the Rafah crossing for the entry of ‎humanitarian and relief aid to the Gaza Strip, and putting an ‎end to the Zionist brutal killing machine.‎

Al-Azhar reiterates its greetings and appreciation for the brave ‎and resistant Palestinian people, who have demonstrated to ‎the whole world their bravery in defending their land and ‎clinging to it. They have proven their adherence to life on the ‎soil of their homeland and rejection of all the occupier’s ‎attempts to displace them forcibly. Despite the unprecedented ‎genocide they are facing, they still cling to their land. Such ‎genocide is unparalleled in history and is in contradiction with ‎all divine laws and international conventions.‎

Al-Azhar also reiterates its greetings to the free peoples and ‎multitudes of young people who rallied in European and ‎American universities and took to the streets and squares to ‎express the global rejection of this chaos. If this chaos is left ‎unchecked, it will plunge the entire world into more wars, ‎conflicts, hatred, and a loss of confidence in the international ‎community and international institutions.‎
