WOAG branch in Benin broadcasted several radio episodes, on the national radio in Parakou, under the title of “Whiffs of Faith”. The episodes were presented by Mr. Hussein Is’haq Sila, member of the branch.
The episodes tackled the jurisprudential issues concerning the status of women in Islam as the key driver in building and developing nations. The episodes mentioned that all heavenly religions underline the key role played by women in preserving the cohesion of both family and society. Additionally, the episodes stressed that the importance of women’s role lies in the message they deliver, which is accomplished by reestablishing the principles and fundaments of Islam explicitly expressed in Quran and Sunnah.
