The World Organization for Al-Azhar Graduates Branch in Benin held a lecture on “characteristics of Ahl As-Sunnah Wal-Jama’ah,” in the city of Cotonou, with the participation of 70 men and women from female leadership positions.
During the lecture, preacher Hussein Othman, a member of the Organization’s Branch, pointed out the tolerance and ease of Islam and corrected some misconceptions about Islam. He also explained that the message of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) came to complete these values and virtuous ethics. In addition, he encouraged young people to receive Islamic sciences from scholars who graduated from Al-Azhar Ash-Sharif, because their approach is one of moderation and balance.
