Prof. Mohammad Taher Mega, a Member of al-Azhar Graduates Organization in Mali participated in a television program on the national channel ORTM1, titled: “The Importance of Education in Strengthening Moderation, Peaceful Coexistence, and Protecting the Youth”

The interview highlighted the society’s responsibility to protect the youth from extremist ideology as an integrated responsibility in consultation with the institutions concerned. It starts with the family and extends to the educational and media institutions, all of which work together to promote the positive values system among young people.

Furthermore, Mega advised young people to avoid spreading sedition, specifically the extremist ideas that lead to conflict and war. He also urged youth to respect all religions and not to force followers of other faiths to change their beliefs, emphasizing that Islam is a religion of peace, security, and kindness, not one of discrimination and hatred.
