The Chad branch of the World Organization for Al-Azhar Graduates held a lecture titled “Exaggeration in Religion” at the Abu Bakr as-Siddiq Mosque in the capital city of N’Djamena, attended by 25 people.
During the lecture, Sheikh Othman Ibrahim, a member of the organization’s branch in Chad, emphasized that Islam is a religion of moderation, steering clear of both exaggeration and negligence. He highlighted that Islam does not support extremism or excess; it is fundamentally a religion of peace and tolerance. He also stressed that all forms of exaggeration are rejected, as they contradict the inherent ease and tolerance of Islam.
