
The World Organization for al-Azhar Graduates Branch in Malaysia participated in the 13th International Conference on “Islam in the Malay World.” This conference is an important platform that brings together researchers from various parts of the world, led by the postgraduate studies program. It is held at Prince Songkla University in Pattani Province, Thailand, in collaboration with the Faculty of Usul al-Din at Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University (UNISSA) in Brunei Darussalam, the Academy of Islamic Studies at the University of Malaya (UM) in Malaysia, and the Faculty of Islamic Sciences at Prince Songkla University (PSU) in Thailand.
The Conference focuses on the important role of the Islamic gathering for fraternity in Malaysia in creating global peace. The meeting serves as a platform for exchanging experiences, knowledge, and ideas to advance Islamic education and spread the values of al-Azhar’s moderation. It is worth noting that Dr. Mohammad Fakhruddin, Head of the Organization’s Branch in Malaysia, Sheikh Mabrouk Younis, Head of the Organization’s Branch in Thailand, and Dr. Noor Irfan, Deputy Head of the Organization in Brunei, participated in the meeting.
