
The World Organization for al-Azhar Graduates branch in Mali convened a lecture under the title of “How to Imitate the Prophet (PBUH)” at Hamdullah Masjid in Bamako city. The event was attended by 50 participants, where Sheikh Himatullah Sw, member of the branch, highlighted the prophetic ethics and qualities and the necessity to follow them.
In the same vein, the lecturer stressed that the Prophet (PBUH) had gathered all of the good deeds and morals which all Muslims must possess, such as: honesty, courage and patience. He added that the most significant of these traits are: mercy, justice, moderation, advocating peace over war, establishing the values of social peace and developing the society nevertheless of the differences.
Further, the lecturer stressed that the Islamic Ummah is witnessing nowadays an outbreak of heinous groups lurking behind religion, repeating the Quranic verses and Prophetic Hadiths to justify their racial crimes disavowed by Islam.
