Al-Azhar Graduates in UK Participate in JAK 2024 Convention

The World Organization for al-Azhar Graduates, UK branch, participated in “JAK 2024 Convention” which took place at Jamia al-Karam’s Eaton Hall, in Nottinghamshire, the headquarters of “Al-Azhar Graduates” in UK. The Convention brought together scholars, community leaders and graduates for a day of reflection, learning and celebration. The Convention witnessed the attendance of 200 participants.

The Convention’s sessions featured a speech by Dr. Mahboob Hussain al-Azhari, member of “Al-Azhar Graduates” in UK, tackling the role of British Muslims and their understanding of citizenship through the Islamic teachings. The speech was followed by a panel discussion ran by Imam Muhammad Asim, member of “Al-Azhar Graduates” in UK. The discussions focused on the future of mosque leadership in the UK as well as the evolving challenges and opportunities for British imams.

Further, Hafiz Gul Muhammad al-Azhari gave a thought-provoking speech on Artificial Intelligence and its relationship with religious thought. The discussion tackled the potential impacts of AI on the contemporary religious perspectives.

In the same vein, Bakhtyar Pirzada al-Azhari, Vice-President of “Al-Azhar Graduates” in UK gave a word highlighting the Dars Nizami curriculum, its historical significance and relevance in contemporary Islamic education.

On his part, Sheikh Muhammad Imdad Hussain Pirzada, President of “Al-Azhar Graduates” in UK delivered a reflective keynote, emphasizing the enduring impact of knowledge in shaping the future.
