Member of “Al-Azhar Graduates” in the UK Visits Anderton Park Elementary School

Imam Amer Hafez, a member of the Organization’s UK branch, visited Anderton Park Elementary School in Sparkhill to promote interfaith understanding and foster community cohesion.

Amer spoke to the students of the fifth and sixth stages, explaining the five pillars of Islam. Furthermore, the students were engaged with insights into Islam as a religion that promotes mutual tolerance, peace, and love, as well as the importance of good character regardless of religious or cultural background

A highlight of the visit was the presentation of the book I Am a British Muslim, authored by Shaykh Imdad Hussain Pirzada, President of Al-Azhar Graduates in the UK. The book encourages reflection on the integration of faith and identity in modern Britain. Imam Amer Hafez expressed hope that the visit would foster greater understanding, mutual respect, and coexistence. This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to bridge cultural and religious divides in Britain and promote dialog and harmony among diverse communities.
