Al-Azhar Graduates in India: New Generation is Hope and Strength of Islamic Nation

The World Organization for al-Azhar Graduates in India held a lecture at Dar al-Uloom Rahmani in Delhi province, Sherpur village, entitled: “Educating Youth to Stay Away from Extremism, Fanaticism, and Violence.” The lecture was attended by students of Dar al-Uloom Rahmani and was delivered by Fazlur Rahman al-Nadwi al-Azhari, Deputy Secretary-General of the India branch and head of al-Ishraq Institute for Azhari Education in Delhi.

During his speech, he emphasized that the new generation is the hope and strength of the Islamic nation, and we must do our utmost to save them from extremism and fanaticism and prevent them from falling into the traps of extremists and hardliners. This comes as part of the World Organization’s India branch activities to protect youth from extremist thought and educate them about moderate thought.

For his part, the director of Dar al-Uloom, Sheikh Rahmatullah al-Qasimi, praised the branch’s efforts in organizing such activities that aim to protect youth from extremist thought and prepare them as leaders carrying the banner of moderation.
