Al-Azhar: Violating the Ceasefire Agreement and Targeting Innocent People in their Tents While they Sleep is Clear Evidence of the Zionists’ Treachery and Betrayal of Covenants
Al-Azhar strongly condemns the treacherous terrorist aggression launched by the Zionist entity at dawn against innocent civilians in Gaza while they were sleeping in their tents. This brutal attack resulted in the martyrdom of over 400 people—mostly women and children—and left hundreds wounded. The assault came after an agreement to cease aggression, in full view of the world, exposing the true nature of this entity, its treachery, and its betrayal of covenants. This heinous act aims to forcibly displace the Palestinian people from their land, despite widespread global opposition.
Al-Azhar affirms that this entity has demonstrated to the world that it is devoid of humanity. Its crimes have exposed its bloody nature and long history of violating covenants and agreements. It resorts only to deception to regain its footing and commit further atrocities and massacres. It will never take genuine steps to end its aggression as long as global powers continue to support it, remain silent about its crimes, and grant it the green light to violate international humanitarian and moral laws. These forces shield it from accountability for its genocide and ethnic cleansing, crimes so horrific that words fail to describe their brutality.
Furthermore, al-Azhar confirms that what the world witnessed at dawn is dark terrorism, adding to the criminal record of this entity that has shed the blood of innocents and violated their lives, land, and rights. It emphasizes that supporting the occupying aggressor and turning a blind eye to its actions is a civilizational and moral regression and active participation in its crimes.
Al-Azhar calls on the international community to fulfill its responsibilities by taking urgent action to halt the Zionist killing machine and prosecute the perpetrators of crimes and massacres among the leaders of this occupying entity.
