
The Organization’s branch in Cameroon held a lecture entitled “The Importance of Proper Understanding of the Holy Quran According to the Approach of Ahl as-Sunnah wa’l-Jama‘ah and the Necessity of Addressing Destructive Ideas” at Sheikh Ismail Mosque in the city of Ngaoundéré.
Notably, Sheikh Ali Mohammad Martla al-Azhari, Imam and preacher, Director of Zia al-Sunnah School, member of the Organization’s branch in Cameroon, and supervisor of the Azhar Fulani page, was one of the speakers at the lecture. He highlighted the role of the Holy Quran in reforming both individuals and society through the knowledge gained through reflection. He also emphasized the necessity of contemplating its verses and meanings, and of standing upon its implications, so that Muslims may refute doubts, dispel falsehoods, and confront the temptations of the soul.
