
The Board of Directors of the World Organization for al-Azhar Graduates, headed by Prof. Abbas Shouman, President of the Board and Secretary-General of the Council of Senior Scholars; Prof. Salama Dawood, Vice President of the Board and President of al-Azhar University; General Wael Bekhit, Vice President of the Board; and Prof. Ibrahim al-Hodhod, Academic Advisor of the Organization, along with all members of the Board and the Organization’s staff, extended their heartfelt congratulations to Prof. Abdul Dayyem Nosseir, Secretary-General of the Organization and Advisor to the Grand Imam of al-Azhar, on the trust placed in him by President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, President of the Republic, in appointing him as a member of the Senate. May Allah grant him success.
Notably, Prof. Abdul Dayyem Nosseir expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the President, emphasizing that the President’s trust represents a national responsibility and a patriotic duty that motivates him to exert greater effort in serving his country.
“This is a duty, and we hope to be worthy of this responsibility,” said Nosseir.
Speaking about his main priorities for the coming period, Nosseir pointed out that education is among his top concerns, as it requires deeper reflection and serves as the foundation of every society. He emphasized that no nation can be built without education. In addition, he expressed his intention to revive Egyptian values in all fields, particularly social and economic values, since these values safeguard our nation. He concluded by praying for success in fulfilling this mission.
