The World Organization for al-Azhar Graduates in India held an awareness meeting at Dar al-Hikma, al-Rahmaniya University in Khanaqah Munjir, Bihar, aimed at familiarizing young people with al-Azhar’s role in promoting moderation worldwide.
Notably, Abdul Ahad al-Azhari emphasized that al-Azhar is a leading academic institution that has conveyed the message of Islam, preserved its heritage, and welcomed knowledge seekers for over a thousand years, teaching them the true religion and a wide range of sciences.
He further highlighted al-Azhar’s role in preparing scholars capable of serving their communities and confronting extremism and radicalism. Meanwhile, participants praised al-Azhar’s global impact, particularly the efforts of the organization’s branch in India in conveying its message to society.
