
Mr. Ahmed Daifullah, a member of the Organization’s branch in Chad, delivered a lecture titled “Moderation in Islam” to students of al-Huda School in the capital, N’Djamena. Approximately 30 students attended the lecture, which was part of the campaign “Azhari Flashes.” The campaign included a reading from the book al-Qawl At-Tayyeb by His Eminence, Prof. Ahmad at-Tayyeb, the Grand Imam of al-Azhar.
Daifullah emphasized that Allah has distinguished the Muslim nation with moderation as one of its fundamental characteristics. He stressed that Islam strongly rejects extremism, exaggeration, and radicalism. Furthermore, he outlined the manifestations of moderation in areas such as creed, Sharia, ethics, and preaching. Daifullah highlighted the critical role of scholars in combating extremism and urged people to consult specialized scholars on religious matters. He also called for addressing those who issue religious rulings without proper knowledge and confronting intellectual extremism through productive thought and constructive dialog.
