WOAG branch in Cameroon met with Prime Minister, on the sidelines of the opening of an Islamic school in Douala city. They discussed the project of raising the awareness of the Muslim community, in order to confront challenges in general, and Covid-19 pandemic in particular.
Sheikh Mohammad Malek Farouk, President of WOAG Cameroon, stressed the necessity of spreading the true Islamic teachings and the moderate message of Islam away from the extremist approaches that destruct the youth, destabilize societies and distort the image of Islam. He also highlighted the necessity of confronting the extremist misconceptions, and to spread the values of tolerance and peaceful coexistence among societies.
