
WOAG branch in Benin organized a lecture under the title of “Seditions Destruct Nations”, in Parakou city, with the attendance of 200 people.
Sheikh Adam Elias Abdul Rahman, Head of WOAG branch in Benin, pointed out that societies develop and progress by challenging all reasons of division and disunity. He stressed that cohesion between citizens is the first line of protection to address the internal and external challenges. Additionally, Sheikh Adam highlighted fighting seditions that the country’s enemies seek to spread is a religious and national issue that all citizens must be aware of.
Further, Sheikh Adam said that the most serious kind of seditions is the one that spoils the relationships between Muslims and non-Muslims. He stated that fighting seditions is a pivotal issue for the progress of all nations, stressing the necessity of standing up to those propagating seditions that drive a wedge between citizens and defy the principle of citizenship and peaceful coexistence stipulated by Islam.
