WOAG branch in Matruh published, on the official Facebook page, a video under the title of “The Importance of Cooperation and its Impact on Individuals and Society“. This video came within the activity carried out by the branch to confront the extremist ideology, spread the moderate approach and correct the misconceptions.
Sheikh Walid Mansour, member of WOAG, said that the Islamic Shari’ah urges cooperation among people, since Allah Almighty commands people to be united and harmonious. He stressed that divisions lead to the destruction of society, while consistency, unity and harmony among people will ensure survival. Indeed, Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) urged cooperation, as he said: “A faithful believer to a faithful believer is like the bricks of a wall, enforcing each other“; hence, cooperation is a fundament for production, development, academic excellence as well as improving members of society. He added that the most vital elements of cooperation are abolishing hatred and hostility and strengthening the bonds of love and fraternity among people. He stressed that cooperation is to help people to challenge the risks and the obstacles they may face, which will strengthen the society and enhance its ability to resist seditions and rumors that may spread hatred among society.
