
The Branch of the World Organization for al-Azhar Graduates in the Central African Republic held a lecture entitled “Exaggeration in the Prophet’s Era… Forms and how to be treated”. The Lecture was attended by 50 persons and was lectured by Zakaria Younes, a member of the organization in the Central African Republic.
It is worth mentioning that Younes addressed the explanation of the book “Exaggeration in the Prophet’s era” issued by the organization within its publications about refuting extremist ideology. He pointed out that Islam is a moderate religion, with no exaggeration or negligence. He added that Islam is a religion of tolerance and ease. Moreover, he clarified that exaggeration has many types, such as exaggeration on creed and academic levels; exaggeration is a deviation from the straight path. Furthermore, he asserted the necessity of confronting ignorance by spreading true moderate Islamic religion. Besides, he urged young people not to take religion from social media, since the extremist groups spew their poisons via the Internet. He also urged parents and sons to follow the lectures and lessons of the organization’s branch in the Central African Republic.
