Dr. al-Mahrasawy Witnesses Meeting of Coordinators of “Al-Azhar Ambassadors” Project to Discuss the Plan of the New Academic Year and Honor the Distinguished Faculties Participating in the Project

Dr. Mohammad al-Mahrasawy, WOAG Vice-Chairman, stressed the importance of constant communication between the coordinators of “Al-Azhar Ambassadors” project and the students in all fields. He added that the Organization works on listening to all constructive suggestions that help to overcome all sorts of problems that may encounter the coordinators.

This word was given during the coordination meeting of “Al-Azhar Ambassadors” project, which was convened in the headquarters of the World Organization for al-Azhar Graduates (WOAG). The meeting aims to prepare new leaders from faculty members and students at al-Azhar University. The meeting was attended by a number of coordinators of “Al-Azhar Ambassadors” projects, from all of al-Azhar faculties.

Dr. al-Mahrasawy underlined the importance of using the approved websites to protect the youth from the misconceptions propagated against Islam and Muslims. He added that the Organization will distribute an electronic version of the booklets, written by al-Azhar prominent scholars to refute the extremist thinking and respond to suspicions, to all faculties as well as displaying them on the social media.

In the same context, Mr. Osama Yaseen, WOAG Vice-Chairman, stressed the importance of highlighting the role of al-Azhar and the Organization among the students and increasing the effective role of “Al-Azhar Ambassadors” project, in order to connect the students with society as well as enhancing the coordination between the project’s coordinators and WOAG branches in all governorates. He pointed out that the Organization exerts every possible efforts to support al-Azhar students to raise their intellectual, religious and patriotic awareness as well as enhancing their sense of significance as belonging to al-Azhar.  

The meeting was concluded by honoring the most distinguished faculties participating in the project.
