Sheikh Abdul Ati Mazid, a member of the World Organization for al-Azhar Graduates in Sohag, participated in the symposium held in the mechanical secondary school in Sohag, in the presence of school leaders, priest of Sohag Archbishop Filmon Fouad, Eng. Mamdouh Mohammad Farghal, and a group of the Egyptian Family House.
It is worth mentioning that Sheikh Abdul Ati Mazid addressed the importance of national unity and how it is a safety valve for society against calls for fragmentation and demolition. Furthermore, national unity is one of the most vital human links, as Allah says: “O mankind! We have indeed created you from a male and a female and made you nations and tribes that you may come to know one another. Truly the noblest of you in the sight of God is the most God-fearing among you.” [Q. 49:13] Moreover, priest Filmon Fouad talked about the love fruits among community members and what is beneficial for our homeland since religions revealed to guide people and to make them cooperative.
