The World Organization for Al-Azhar Graduates Condemns Terrorist Attack on a Religious School in Afghanistan

The World Organization for al-Azhar Graduates condemns the brutal terrorist explosion in Kabul, northern Afghanistan, resulting in the death of innocent people.

The Organization said in a statement: shedding the blood of innocent people is one of the grievous sins that necessitates hatred of Allah and Islam protects the lives of all people, as Allah said in the Holy Quran: “And slay not the soul God has forbidden, except by right.” [Q. 17: 33].

The statement added, is it justifiable for a reasonable person, after these crimes committed by these criminals, which victimize women, children, and worshipers, to be deceived by them, agree to their thought, or think that this criminality belongs to Islam or any other religion on earth?

Furthermore, the Organization stressed that there is no retreat from confronting terrorism and extremism, as terrorism has no religion or homeland; it aims to destabilize countries and harm people. At the end of the statement, the Organization extended its condolences to the victims’ families and wished a speedy recovery for the injured, praying to spare the whole world the flames of intolerance, extremism, and terrorism.
