Al-Azhar: Targeting Innocents is a Crime Renounced by All Heavenly Religions
Al-Azhar Institution strongly condemned the terrorist attack that targeted a concert hall near Moscow, resulting in the killing of at least 144 people and dozens of injuries.
Al-Azhar stressed that targeting the innocents is crime rejected by all heavenly religions that despise its perpetrators and vow to punish them severely. Al-Azhar reaffirmed its unequivocal rejection and strong condemnation of all violent acts committed by ISIS that are strongly renounced by Islam and all heavenly religions. In the same vein, al-Azhar emphasized the necessity of international solidarity to uproot and eradicate terrorism.
Al-Azhar extended its sincere condolences to the Russian Federation, its government, people and victims’ families, praying to Allah Almighty to grant the injured with swift recovery.
