Al-Azhar Graduates in Comoros: al-Azhar Sheikhs are Lanterns of Guidance and Role Models in Spreading the Islamic Da’wa in the Comoran Society

WOAG branch in Comoros held a lecture under the title of “The Importance of Moderate Approach”, in Moroni city, attended by 25 participants.

Dr. Mohammad Badawy, member of the branch, highlighted the honor and pride he feels to be an affiliate to al-Azhar institution. He stressed that al-Azhar Sheikhs and scholars are lanterns of guidance and considered as role models in spreading the Islamic Da’wa in the Comorian society. He added that the methods of Da’wa should be drawn from the holy Quran, the honorable Prophetic Sunnah and the biographies of the Prophet’s companions, provided that the method is wise and gentle. These methods include:    

enticement, debating and arguing. Dr. Mohammad Badawy urged the attendees to follow the scholars accredited by authentic moderate institutions that renounce excessiveness and extremism.
