Al-Azhar Graduates in Benin: Quran Approach Entrenches Moderation

The branch of the World Organization for al-Azhar Graduates in Benin held a religious lecture in Parakou city, norther Benin, entitled “Islam is the Religion of Moderation”, as part of the activity of the Organization and its branches abroad to confront extremist thought, correct misunderstood concepts and spread the moderate approach.

It is worth mentioning that Ishaq Seela, a member of the Organization said that approach of the Holy Quran is based on moderation, asserting that Islam is the religion of tolerance, love, peace, and justice. Furthermore, Islam denounces all forms of violence and extremism. Seela warned the youth of exaggeration, extremism, and engaging with extremist groups. Moreover, he urged to immune youth against these ideas and raise their awareness about Azhari moderate approach that denounces violence and extremism.
